Here is the first release out of Karuan´s sublime "Pop Arif" (SR070/1) album entitled "Chocolate Distance (Hypnotized)". "Chocolate Distance", a duet with Mara Mastalir is a catchy composition. Flutes, guitars and foremost vocals are arranged and fitted perfectly into this soulful production. With "Reflections Of A Poem" Karuan offers another pearl from his seminal Album. Hip hop drums, a touch of dub and spoken words courtesy of Oddateee, who´s dropping knowledge over the tender chorus of L´Enfant Terrible. Pure magic! Both versions are exclusive & Dj friendly edits for the vinyl headz out there. On the flip no other than primetime g-stoner Dj Urbs , known for his underground classics with Dj Cutex, turns "Chocolate Distance" into a slick and rullin´ headnod anthem! To sum up this tasty package Vienna´s own Uko (Klein rec.) are adding some tripped out and techy flavours to the original. Watch out for more Urban-oriental Soul out of the "Pop Arif" express in the near future, cause he has only just began to buzz off!
